Treasurer’s Report
Happy New Year to our Members.
We have had our first year at the new venue in Failand, Nr Bristol.
I think everyone who had attended will agree that the facilities are first class, with a light spacious hall, excellent kitchen and ample parking.
Both shows were well attended. The profits for the shows were:-
Spring Show - £290-19
Autumn Show - £242-94
We consider this to be a very good result especially in the current climate.
We have an excellent committee who work very hard and travel long distances to make their contribution for the welfare of the Club. We also have members that are not on the Committee who make a big contribution.
Many thanks for the financial donations received from our members, your help is very much appreciated.
Our Spring show will be slightly different in 2010 as it will be on Saturday 17th April 2010 as our usual day (Sunday) was not available. The other change will be that the Committee have agreed that the judging time should be brought forward, therefore judging will commence at 1100. Once again the Annual General Meeting will follow the show.
All details will be available once schedules are printed which can also be downloaded from the Club’s Website.
Membership Fees remain the same – Joint @ £5-00 and Single @ £4-00.
Memberships become due on 1st January 2010.
